Waves with Pomade

A pomade is traditionally a "semi-solid hair-styling product"; including waxes, glues, clays, and a variety of substances that are usually thick in consistency. The "heavy-ness or thickness" of the product is controlled by placing a small amount in the palm of the hand and rubbing with your fingertip to reduce the amount carried to and applied onto the hair. Pomades are usually thick enough that a little bit goes a long way.  Reducing the amount of product on the finger tips before applying to your hair give you the control and allows you to form your hair, to make waves, without leaving your hair greasy looking or "pasted down."
